Although we are living in unprecedented and uncertain times, I feel it’s important to recognize and honor this week…
In recognition of National Infertility Awareness Week (April 19th – 25th) and in honor of the millions of women and couples who are having challenges trying to conceive, please join me in helping to bring awareness to this important issue.
NIAW is a national movement dedicated to raising awareness of the challenges faced by individuals and couples struggling with infertility. It is a chance to be in solidarity with all those who want to remove the stigma and barriers standing in the way of building families. It’s also an opportunity to change the conversation and begin to understand the needs of this silent community.
What Can You Do?
During National Infertility Awareness Week anyone can make a difference. Opportunities to get involved include wearing orange on Wednesday the 22nd to show your support and help raise awareness around the issue. You can also participate in the 5 Day Photo Challenge, sharing a different photo each day with the hashtags #NIAW2020 and #MyInfertilityStory. Or, host a virtual Walk of Hope to bring awareness and help raise money for RESOLVE’s mission. For more, click here.
