My apologies for a delayed Happy New Year! I don’t know about you but I feel like I have a hangover from 2018. And thus, part of the reason for my delay. Last year, for me and for a lot of us, was a pretty intense year. So many moving parts, many emotionally draining situations, and many lessons learned. And for me it ended on a pretty high note. Nevertheless, the NEW YEAR is HERE!
On New Year’s Day, my Mom said to me, “Voorspoedig in 2019.” I asked her what that meant and she said, “It means May you have Prosperity in 2019, in Dutch”. At first, I thought she was talking about just financial prosperity, which didn’t sit well with me. So, this got me to thinking what is the true definition of prosperity? According to one source, “prosperity is the state of flourishing, thriving, good fortune or successful social status. Prosperity often encompasses wealth, but it also includes other factors which can be independent of wealth to varying degrees, such as happiness and health.” Now, this I can get behind!
So, I am passing these well wishes for the New Year on to you:
May you have a Calm and Clear Mind, a Healthy and Hearty Body, a Free and Flowing Spirit, and Harmonious and Heart-felt Emotions!
And may your 2019 be filled with Fabulousness and Fecundity!
